Wildflower Wedding Decorations

Wildflowers do not need much added decoration: they are beautiful by themselves. So keep added extras to a minimum.

Be sure to use wildflowers on your cake or cupcakes! They make gorgeous cake toppers, and they can also be integrated into the cake decoration on the tiers.

Set bouquets of wildflowers inside colored, old-fashioned pitchers or canning jars and place them around the tables.

Simply scatter wildflowers on the tables in a table-runner fashion.

If your wedding is outside and close to fencing, tie flowers to the rails, either with a coordinating bandana color or ribbons. Or tie the flowers to the chairs at the row ends.

Place tall wildflowers inside tin buckets and set at the ends of the rows. Put smaller buckets and shorter bouquets around the tables for a corresponding setting.

Purchase plain wreaths and add wildflowers to it. Hang the wreathes up on the walls or doors if you’re having the wedding inside, or hang on the ends of chairs or place on tables for an outdoor wedding.

Place your wedding favors inside wood or tin buckets, or inside clear glass vases. Set them on a table near your memory book for guests to write little notes in.

If you're having a small wedding, pick enough flowers to decorate with and then hand them out as favors to wedding guests to enjoy in their own homes.

Press wildflowers and use them to decorate bookmarks with your wedding date and names.

Purchase wildflower seed packets and place them in mini flower pots. Or fill little sachets with seeds and tie together with a coordinating ribbon.
