Red Wedding Flowers

Red flowers are a beautiful accent to a romantic wedding. As a budget-saver plus, red flowers are such a powerful color to use that many aren’t needed to create a stunning effect.
If you will be wearing a red dress, don’t carry a red bouquet—the dress will overpower the bouquet. Let the bridesmaids carry them. Instead, stick with a white bouquet, such as white roses.
All red bouquets are beautiful, but if you want some extra color to your bouquet there are some options. Accent the bouquets with greenery, such as leaves or ferns—or ivy, the original heart symbol. Mix white flowers in with the bouquets, such as baby’s breath or other smaller white flowers.
Or sprinkle pearls or diamonds throughout the bouquet to compliment your jewelry.
A unique but beautiful bouquet to carry is a kissing ball (or pomander). These look especially gorgeous with all red or white roses.
Carry them in the shape of a heart, as well!

For all red flowers, consider using calla lilies, anthuriums, gerberas, freesias, tulips, or alstroemeria. And, of course, red roses. They are the most romantic of all flowers and set the mood perfectly for a romantic wedding.
