For over 400 years, the Irish Claddagh ring has symbolized love (the heart), friendship (the hands), and loyalty (the crown). The ring was first crafted near an Irish fishing village in memory of a woman dearly loved. Because of its romantic heritage and beautiful yet simple design, the Claddagh has grown in popularity and is widely considered a token of deep love and friendship.
