Black and White Wedding Invitations

Invitation formats for your black and white wedding come in almost endless options, and you are sure to find one with whatever theme you have chosen.
Use black card stock and print your invitation on the front with white lettering. Depending on the formality of your wedding, suit your font accordingly. Alternate the colors, using white card stock and black font. For both, arrange the invitation wording around for the most dramatic effect.
Pick a design, such as a flower, and curve it up the side, top, or bottom of your invitation.
Another option is to split up the background between black and white, alternating the font color accordingly. Add music notes or a bass or treble clef if you are incorporating music into your wedding.
A more formal look is to have a long rectangle, white invitation with black font and a black ribbon tied at the top.
Pictures of the couple are always special to receive with an invitation. Combine the picture with the invitation. Print out photo cards, with a black and white picture of yourselves and add the invitation details. These can be simply ordered through any photo processing store.
Depending on your wedding style, add polka dots, pinstripes, flowers, or even attach a feather to the invitation.
